Up for sale is a early Texaco Water Pump Grease oil can. The can features the Texaco star graphic on the lid and the front. It is still partially full. This vintage oil can would look stellar in an oil can collection or gas and oil advertising collection. Measures about 3.5 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. This is a vintage original TEXACO Gasoline & Oil porcelain sign that measures 42 in diameter. Apparently it has been used for target practice… The farmer I bought it from got it like this in the early 50s in this condition and hung it on his barn. In the late 70s and 80s, people seeing it from the road would stop to see if he would sell it. “No” was always his answer. In the last few years they tried stealing it. These signs are very rare and still in demand even in this condition. They’re a lot cheaper.
