Vintage 1937 Copyright Sunoco 5 Gallon Motor Oil Can with Caps & Wood Handle

This can was manufactured by the Continental Can Company as is evidenced by their logo on the bottom of the can. Notice also the unusual arrangement of the handle It is a small handle mounted to the top rather than a handle mounted to the side of the can. It has both caps and a wooden handle. Considering its age this can is in really nice shape, look at the pictures as they describe the condition better than any words. These are two vintage cans used by GULF Oil Co. The first is a barrel that once held lubricating grease. It measures 24″ tall and is 14½” in diameter. Would make a nice trash can.
