I got tired of wanting a 16-gallon drum with vintage oil company advertising for my garage to use as a trash can when they cost so much and were rusty and unappealing. So I acquired some clean used 16-gallon drums; painted them in colors close to the original colors of the oil companies I was using; and finished them off with reproduction logo and lettering decals. These are two vintage cans used by GULF Oil Co. The first is a barrel that once held lubricating grease. It measures 24″ tall and is 14½” in diameter. Would make a nice trash can.
