The large, heavy steel metal thermometer sign reads Quaker Brand Completely Denatured Alcohol Anti-Freeze, Rust Proof, Safe, Economical, Rust-Proof, Formula No. 11, Manufactured By Pennsylvania Alcohol Corporation, Philadelphia, Pa. Each sign is stood in the upright position through this process to allow for correct rust “streaking” much like a sign that has been hanging on the side of a building for many years.
