The Wolf’s Head Oil Company has been producing high-quality lubricating products for well over 125 years….. The company was founded in Pennsylvania as “Pennsylvania Crude” in 1879…… Presently, its company headquarters is in Tampa, Florida…… The company slogans are “The Finest Of The Fine Since 1879″ and “Run With The Wolf”….. The oil is marketed as “superior performance, but exceptional value” and has been well respected in the muscle car community…… Like Wolf’s Head, the modern oil industry was born in the bustling communities in and around Oil City, Pennsylvania and Wolf’s head was an integral part of the original “Pennsylvania Crude” lube oil phenomenon……. We have a really cool piece of “Wolf’s Head” advertising here folk’s….. This old thermometer is from the 1950’s and was manufactured by The Pam Clock Company of New Rochelle, NY……. Pam advertising clocks and thermometers epitomized the best in promotional and branded products from the early 1940’s to the early-1970’s…… The companys distinctively designed backlit instruments advertised products ranging from milk, soft drinks, and beer to gas and motor oil, spark plugs, bread, shoes, and medicines….. This piece is 12 round and it has a few condition issues….. Some of the advertising is gone and there are some scratches on the glass, also some of the tabs are broken on the back……. We did test it and it is working though…..
