PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION!!! I will describe nearly every detail, so that no one can complain later : This is truly incredible and you will not find another item like this up for sale as they do not come along often. When they do, they are not this complete and not in as good of condition. This is a 1950s-1960s Buddy L Toy Texaco Service Station. The base is metal and is 24″ x 18″. The metal is scratched and dented in several spots. When assembled, the building with 3 plastic walls and an open back is 16″ x 9″ and is 6 tall. The 4 red stars on the two sides of the building are there as well as the red Texaco letters and two more stars on the front. The top piece of the building is also metal with viewing down into the garage. The metal may be scratched or dented in some spots like the base. The corners have marks where tape once was, but tape is not necessary to hold the building together upright. Over time, there is slight warping of the plastic walls, but only causes the corners to not completely line up. On the left side, you see stickers that represent the restrooms, with a plastic restroom sign. The sign once had legs on it to make it freestanding, but those have broken off. The clear plastic pieces in the windows are a little brittle and warped and would need to be taped into place for permanent display. Right now they are hanging by the one or two good corner holes that are left. They both display advertising for Firestone and the colors and graphics are great. The windows on the right side wall of the garage are intact and not damaged. On the front wall, the main green door is there and works well, not broken. I’m not sure if anything went above the door in the open window or not. Two garage doors are present and work well, sliding up and down. The right side garage door is missing the top right corner piece, but it does not hurt the mechanics of the door and is not very noticeable when door is in place. The vehicle lift inside of the garage is present as well. The tabs on the bottom to hold in place are missing except for one. You are also receiving the two tall Texaco signs. These are complete and not broken. They each stand 8 1/2 tall. One sign has slight staining on one side from age. There are two white pump stands that have yellowed from age, but are in great condition, not broken. All four gas pumps are complete with stickers. Each pump is 1″ wide by 2 1/4″ tall. The two red pumps are Texaco Fire Chief. One of the red pumps has two of the bottom tabs broken off, but it still sits well in place. The two green pumps are Sky Chief Su-Preme Petrox and are all intact, with no broken tabs. The green oil can rack is there, but there isn’t much to it. It should have cardboard pictures of oil cans slid into each side, but those are missing and the piece is slightly bent. You will get 20 total mini oil cans. 10 Havoline and 10 Texaco PT Anti Freeze. All of the stickers are there, but they all have various levels of staining from wear. You also get the complete tire rack with the 8 original tires. The rack and tires have no damage. And lastly, you get the two small green plastic water cans. You will NOT find one of these setups in better condition or more complete. In fact, this is so close to be nearly perfect that you could find a few of the replacement pieces if you want and be the envy of any Buddy L or Gas and Oil toy collector. I believe that I have been completely up front and honest about EVERYTHING with this item. If you have any questions or would like to see any pictures of anything, please do not hesitate to ask.
