67- LOT Vintage Rusty Tin maple sap bucket LIDS made with 1950s Motor oil cans
What you see in the pictures is exactly the lot you will receive. Made in Quebec, Canada. This lot was made by a local fellow who recycled used motor oil cans back in the day to make sap buckets and lids. Most of the motor oil cans were Canadian versions, dating from 1930s to 1960s. Very interesting & various assortment here, like BP, Chrysler, Mobiloil, Quaker State, Kendall, Fina, etc. Note the few first ones: RED INDIAN by McColl Frontenac. Very rusty and faded but rare. Measure roughly 11″ x 11″. Some may be a little larger or smaller. Most of them have the 4 corners slightly clipped. Most of them still have their attaching wire on top, which attached the spile. Of course those lids have surface rust on both sides, some paint loss & and some slight dents. They were probably used for many years. Great for any old garage decor, sheet metal for any crafts or artistic project, or simply to use them as vintage sap buckets lids. To see my other items.
